Account Management

Ultra Electronics CEMS operate as your 'virtual factory'. We have developed a business model for our customers which minimises the normal problems associated with remote geography and external communication. Because we are aware that the availability of accurate, up to date information in relation to your products is critical to your business, we have provided two main sources of information for each customer:-

Customer Relationship Management

Each customer has an Account Manager. The role of the account manager includes:-

  • Providing a single point of contact for all commercial issues
  • Liaison between functions and disciplines on behalf of our customer
  • Ensuring effective communication takes place between the two businesses
  • Communicating customer requirements within Ultra to the relevant people
  • Making sure there are no surprises for our customer
  • Ensuring Ultra operate as a 'low maintenance' supplier to our customer

The Account Manager has the authority to operate across functions & disciplines, thus providing solutions to potential problems long before they become an inhibitor to product delivery or specification compliance.

Our account management team use the latest in customer relationship management (CRM) tools to allow tasks and actions to be monitored against timelines.

On line Product Tracking

In addition, we are developing a Customer Area on our web-site.

Each customer will have access to the customer area via a unique ID password controlled portal. Once inside the area, each customer will be able to see real-time information about their products together with relevant articles posted by engineers and buyers from Ultra CEMS. Typical information available will include:-

  • Prototype status
  • NPI Minutes
  • Work In Process status
  • Confirmed Delivery date
  • Materials issues
  • Issue level and Build status

By making quality information available to our customers we aim to operate as an extension of their own facility. You can rely on Ultra, your specialist electronics manufacturer.
